The Connecticut
Public Health Association provides leadership for the promotion of
health and the prevention of disease among the people of
Connecticut.
This is accomplished
through:

Advocacy of public health policies and programs which are
intended to promote health and prevent disease; and attainment
and maintenance of high quality professional public health
services within the state of Connecticut

Enhancement of public health profession through forums for
the exchange and dissemination of information among public
health professionals and organizations

Education of public constituencies and policy makers
