SOPHE’s policy team and the Illinois SOPHE Board are pleased to feature a webinar on health activism and advocacy to discuss current changes in the U.S. health care system and provide ways for anyone to become more involved in community level policy change. Participants will learn how to increase community involvement in civic engagement and identify what can be done in day to day life to advocate for positive change. We hope this webinar will help define health policy and give tangible examples of health advocacy and activism.
