Fighting the Obesity and Diabetes Epidemics in Immigrant Communities with Plant-Based Nutrition Education in Public Schools

In this session, participants will learn how to apply the successful strategies used during the war on soda and junk food and apply them to increase access to healthy, plant-based foods. Participants will learn specific steps to take so they can create a healthier school food environment, and why it’s imperative that we do so, now.
