Please join the Connecticut Public Health Association (CPHA) on Thursday August 20, 2020 at 6:00 pm for the Unplug. Reconnect. Revitalize: Practicing Self-Care through Mindfulness virtual webinar. As we prepare to transition into the Fall season, this experiential session will focus on the science of mindfulness and how it applies both individually and within public health. Thousands of studies show how mindfulness in public health practice is directly correlated to decreased stress and pain, fewer accidents and incidents, and a more engaged, connected environment. By the end of this session, participants will have gained insight to valuable daily approaches and mindfulness practices that can protect mental health.

A highly-trained mindfulness facilitator from Copper Beech Institute will share some of the cutting-edge neuroscience and guide you in exploring how mindfulness and it’s many approaches to practice can transform the stress, chaos and conflicts into opportunities for connection, creativity and deeper well being.

  • Date: Thursday August 20, 2020
  • Time: 6-7pm
  • Facilitator: Copper Beech Institute
  • Location: Zoom Meeting
