The Connecticut Public Health Association’s Health Education Committee (HEC) is hosting another lunch and learn event where public health professionals across the state can learn and exchange information about various health topics. Our next event, titled ‘Lunch and Learn with the Health Education Committee: Wellness During A Pandemic’ will be held next month at the conclusion of National Public Health Week on April 9, 2021, from 12 pm – 1pm. The event will feature a presentation from Jessica Collins, a registered nurse at Hartford Healthcare who will discuss the impact of a pandemic on our bodies, isolation, and illness, coping strategies, as well as available resources and support. After the presentation, participants will have the opportunity to participate in a Q&A discussion. We hope to see you all there!
