Please help DPH celebrate National Public Health Week by joining us on April 7, 2014 for an informational forum on public health data collected and available through the Connecticut Department of Public Health (DPH).

Attendees will hear from several programs across DPH that maintain important databases and information management systems in the areas of infectious disease, chronic disease, hospitalizations, maternal and child health and environmental health.

Topics of discussion will cover many data systems, including:

  • Acute Care Hospital Inpatient Discharge Data (HIDD)
  • Cancer Surveillance and Epidemiology (SEER Data Management System)
  • Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS)
  • Connecticut Immunization Registry and Tracking System (CIRTS)

DATE: April 7, 2014

TIME: 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

LOCATION: The Lyceum, 227 Lawrence St, Hartford, CT 06106.
The Lyceum is conveniently located three blocks from Capitol area state office buildings and from I-84. There is ample free parking for visitors who drive, and the facility is easy walking distance from the Legislative Office Building.
