Our mission at the Connecticut Health Foundation (CT Health) states, “Everyone deserves the opportunity for optimal health, regardless of race, ethnicity, background, or income level. We are dedicated to improving the health of all Connecticut residents.” For us, expanding health equity means creating more access to better care, especially for those who currently lack it now – people of color.

The Campaign for a Stronger Connecticut (Campaign) is working successfully towards that goal. Funded byCT Health and supported by GALEWiLL Design, the Campaign is collaborating with three key partners to expand health equity for all of our residents. These partners are leaders in their sectors whose broad networks are helping spread the word to fellow leaders. The Campaign’s partners include:

1. Business: The Connecticut Business and Industry Association
2. Education: Connecticut Association of School Based Health Centers
3. Community: Community Alliance for Research and Engagement

These leaders are being engaged to make significant advances in eliminating health disparities across our great state and to create health equity for people of all races and colors.
