On November 17 and 18 the March of Dimes - in collaboration with the CDC and several other highly respected health organizations - is hosting Prematurity Prevention Conference 2015: Quality Improvement, Evidence and Practice at Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington Virginia.

Participants from multiple disciplines will examine ways to enhance prematurity prevention efforts in the US by sharing best practices for designing, implementing and evaluating programs and policies. The conference will be a forum for disseminating findings, sharing tools and resources, and engaging stakeholders in the effort to significantly reduce the US preterm birth rate by 2030.

The conference brings together a multidisciplinary group to discuss quality improvement in the strategy to prevent prematurity, promote health and save costs. Organized by the March of Dimes in collaboration with the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC), American Academy of Family Physicians, American Academy of Pediatrics, American College of Nurse-Midwives, American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Association of Maternal & Child Health Programs, Association of State and Territorial Health Officials, Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses and National Association of County & City Health Officials.
