The Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Foundation and the Massachusetts Department of Transitional Assistance would like you to join us for a convening about mobile markets in our region. This special gathering will provide an opportunity to network and share best practices as we consider how mobile markets serve as a tool to increase healthy food access in communities and how they complement existing efforts around affordability and education.

Our keynote speaker will be Benjamin Bartley, Food Access Director of the Arcadia Center for Sustainable Food & Agriculture, and we expect to welcome Commissioner Jeff McCue (MA Department of Transitional Assistance) and Commissioner John Lebeaux (MA Department of Agricultural Resources) among others.

Yes! This event is for anyone with an interest in healthy food access who wants to learn more - or share insights about - how mobile markets are one tool in the food system. We want all attendees to take away knowledge at how they can advance mobile market programs in their space, whether through policy, funding, producing, distribution or more. 

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Please visit the Museum website for details on how to reach the Museum of Science: http://www.mos.org/directions.  Upon arrival, signage at the Information Desk will direct you to the convening. Parking in the MoS garage will be validated - please bring your ticket with you.
