Sexual Violence in Black and African American Communities

You are invited to join us this summer for special conversations about sexual violence and its impact on Black and African American communities. These events are free and open to the public.

Sexual Violence in Black and African American Communities: A Day-Long Institute

The goal of this institute is to engage service providers serving Black and African American people. Participants will get a chance to learn about the new and innovative ways that sexual violence is being addressed within these communities.

By the end of this institute, participants will be able to: identify some of the reasons Black and African American communities are being underserved; identify new resources for healing in Black and African American communities; and identify the connection between anti-blackness and sexual violence.
