Organizations that participated in Connecticut Health Foundation’s Health Policy Research and Advocacy grant program will discuss the importance of forming community partnerships to ensuring that research is translated into health policy. The breakout session, entitled, Partnering to Advance Public Health Policy, is one of several exciting breakout sessions being offered at the 2013 CPHA Annual Conference on Friday, October 25, 2013 at Coco Key Convention Center in Waterbury. Other morning sessions include Partnerships in Emergency Preparedness, Coalition Building and Partnerships in Obesity Prevention. Afternoon sessions include Campus Partnerships, Working with the Media and Student Mentoring.
