During the 2nd Morning Breakout Session of the 2014 CPHA Annual Conference, we are pleased to offer you a choice between 3 excellent breakout sessions:
Public Health & Healthcare: Embracing a Culture of Quality Improvement
Here, we will discuss quality improvement tools used in quality improvement projects, opportunities for public health and healthcare to collaborate to improve the quality of services, and participate in a dialogue about quality improvement projects between public health and healthcare.
Public Health, Healthcare and Aging Populations
Participants will be able to recall implications for public health and healthcare systems in CT related to aging populations, explain population-based interventions for aging populations, and examine two instances where public health legislative policy implementation can be effective in measuring levels of independence, safety, and inclusion in communities throughout CT’s aging population during this session
Looking for Jobs in All the Right Places: The Expanding Public Health Care Pathway
Jeremy Kelley from Jobs for the Future will uncover the latest job trends in health/public health careers. Following the presentation, five experts in public health will provide 10-minute “speed mentoring” sessions to small groups of participants.
