The Town of Trumbull, pop. 36,000+ is seeking an experienced public health nursing professional to assume this responsible, community-oriented position in the Town of Trumbull Health Department. Assists in staffing community clinics and coordinating adult and childhood immunization and health programs. Monitors and evaluates public health communicable disease data. Plans and coordinates public health outreach programs ranging from lead poisoning prevention to Lyme disease prevention to chronic disease issues. Participates in emergency response drills and exercises. Must have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of nursing plus one year of public health nursing experience preferred and be licensed as a registered nurse in Connecticut.
