First, I want to thank you for being a member and hope you enjoyed the 2015 "Healthy by Design" annual conference. As Brittany Allen, president of CPHA, mentioned, 2016 is the 100th anniversary of the CPHA and planning the centennial conference is beginning now. We need volunteers for the centennial celebration. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to engage with other public health professionals who you would not otherwise engage with in your busy lives. Here are a few reasons why and how you will benefit:
Be part of CPHA's biggest annual conference yet
Collaborate with community organizations in CT
Add volunteer experience to your resume/LinkedIn network
Network in CT's largest public health professional organization
The planning committee will have monthly conference calls starting in January and bi-weekly meetings starting in May. Much of our communication also occurs via email.
Please respond to [email protected] if you would like to volunteer for the centennial annual conference and I will add you to the email distribution list. The first conference call will be on December 9th @ 3:30 pm.
