COVID-19 Vaccine Access for those 75 and Older

Tuesday, January 19, 2021
The COVID 19 vaccine has been proven to be safe and effective for people 75 years and older.
If you are 75 years of age or older, you qualify for Phase 1b, and are currently eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine. If you have already heard from your medical provider about receiving the vaccine, you do not need to do anything else – if you have not, several scheduling options are available to you.
Please, do not reach out to your doctor or medical provider about the vaccine if they have not contacted you.

*While appointments may not be available immediately at this time, please know that the State continues to be limited by the amount of vaccine provided by the federal government. The Department of Public Health is continuing to enroll providers and staff, and we expect that access to appointments will grow, particularly for priority populations, as our supply from the federal government increases in the coming weeks.*
