CPHA works to pair public health mentors with students who want to learn more about public health.  The websites below offer guidance on making the mentoring experience beneficial for all parties.

International Association of Public Health Institutes

The IAPHI Mentorship program works to build human capacity and provide a career path for public health professionals.

Mentoring Organization Committee Mentors on Request

The CPHA Mentoring Committee, called Mentors on Request,  provides its 41 organizational members with online resources and activities that make public health experiential learning easier and more effective for both mentors and students, The MOR primarily focuses on connecting the state’s public health professionals with  high school, community college and undergraduate educators and their students. 

National Mentoring Month

National Mentoring Month is supported by the Harvard School of Public Health and MENTOR and works to increase the number of individuals who will volunteer as mentors to other.


P.H.E.N.O.M. focuses on teaching mentors the proper skills to become good mentors.

The National Mentoring Partnership

The National Mentoring Partnership works closely with state mentoring programs to close the gap between the number of want a mentor and the number who have a mentor.
